WORKSHOP![]() NIQUASIL® Treatment of 2 stroke and 4 stroke cylinders with high quality Niquasil® (nickel silicon carbide composite) on any aluminium or cast iron cylinder. 3 months warranty. We also carry out any treatment of multi-cylinder motorcycles and automobiles such as Porsche or BMW engine blocks. In practice, the cylinder walls are electro-deposited with a Niquasil® layer, usually between 80 and 180 µm thick. In the next step, the cylinders are milled and ground to improve their sliding characteristics. The final thickness of the coating must be between 20 and 50 µm, which requires extremely close tolerances. The lead time for a Niquasil or ceramic plasma treatment is 1 month. It can be done in 15 days MOTORBIKE 49cc > 70cc 71cc > 125cc 126cc > 250cc 271cc > 300cc 301cc > 500cc More than 500cc 125cc 4 stroke 250cc 4 stroke 251 to 600cc 4 stroke > 600cc 4 stroke In-line twin-cylinder block

These results are then recorded in our computer system, which allows us to follow the cylinder throughout the production process. 2 - The cylinder is degreased and cleaned by blowing. The old worn layer is chemically removed. 3 - The cylinder is lightly pre-ground so that we have a good idea of any damage. 4 - The cylinder is milled, welded and drilled to repair any defects. 5 - The cylinder is measured under temperature control and a calculation is made to determine the thickness of the layer to be applied. The Niquasil or Plasma ceramic coating is applied in the treatment tank by means of an electrolytic process. This process is fully computer controlled. 6 - The cylinder receives the Niquasil or Ceramic Plasma coating, which has yet to be finished to the precise final size, usually between 5/100th and 7/100ths. 7 - The cylinder is then cleaned, inspected and sent to you. Our work is guaranteed for 3 months, the warranty will be applied after inspection of the cylinder. Beware of incorrect assembly, lapping or modification of the part... the warranty will not be applied. Caution: Because of the different qualities of cast iron = No guarantee when Niquasil treatment is used on cast iron cylinders.
